"Dj Outselect started in 2006, performing in the clubs TUNNEL,FRIDAY NC,RED CLUB,GRIBOEDOV,WEIHTLESS ,QUADRAT,YUME, Underground Openairs and parties. His music is full of broken beat: sometimes it's jolly, light-hearted funk things, bootlegs, booty breaks, sometimes - hard, brutal soundings.

In 2009 he fired his first breaks track, called "Red Mushrooms". In 2010 feat. Kitt Whale - the track "Chicos", and also feat. Electrobit crew - the track "Wild Mixture".

Scratchin', Breakin', Rappin'. Kidd Linus will stop at nothin' to get the crowd jumpin'. Emerging from the east coast as one of Baltimore's best kept secrets, this 12 year veteran has played along side some of the industries finest such as Richard Vission, Bad Boy Bill, Andy C. & Rabbit In The Moon just to name a few. In 2000 Kidd Linus teamed up with Bassbin Twins and toured the states as lead MC, B-boy, & DJ for the live show. Kidd Linus continued to tour under the Bassbin moniker until the end of 2003.

DJ Lexani

Despite his humble and modest persona DJ Lexani can bravely claim to be a most upstanding DJ with his sunny personality moving even the most stubborn of dancefloor hearts and minds. Being the resident of Russia's most popular breaks promo group Lexani is always striving for the next level and focusing on perfecting his art as a skilled dj practitioner from the East. Having started off his career in his homeland Russia his admirable talents now see him frequent night spots around the world with his highly anticipated and captivating sets always gathering new fans. As well as rocking these crowds on a regular basis he helps with the smooth running and organisation of the epic Breaks Arena festival and is also regularly found hosting the In Beat We Trust parties at the world famous Kazantip festival. Tonight on the Breakspoll nominated radio show ' The Beatz and Bobz Show' on NSB Radio we have M.I. Loki...

"There are 2 of us, Ian Stanley and Matt Scott that make up M.I. Loki and we make beats, breaks, and bass.

No good story begins without a quick synopsis; we met on a hazy night in 1995, at Wild Times in Cambridge, though it wasn't until 2005 and a move to Sheffield that we began making tracks together. It began with a bootleg of Come Together by the Beatles, and continued with a joint love for sampling Zoolander, mini guns, Bill Duke and all things Chevy Chase. Some may say our music has never really evolved from there, but they probably listen to electro trash music and wear skinny jeans.

Having experimented with hip hop, house, DnB, and whatever else that we could place a beat underneath, it became apparent that the laws of breakbeat, or rather the lack of them, would allow us to bring all of our musical tastes to one table. Influenced more by the early days of the "breaks" genre where breakbeats were alive and reigned supreme, we set up Tricksta Recordings in May 2006. Since then we have developed and evolved our sound, playing with everything from a more organic sounding style of breakbeat music to dub influenced bleeps and squeaks."

Proper random show this week... No Lex due to the petrol shortage, me trying to recover from NASS festival, and no Ali Rutt so I popped on early.

Starts off with a load of Functional and APE tunes, then goes all RAVE and finally I finish off with a live recording from me and Lex taken from the Cavern Club when we supported Rennie Pilgrem.

We pleased to announce that on Monday 21st April we have a very special guest mix from Mr No Hands.

Every now and again an artist like Mr No Hands comes along breathing fresh air into proceedings with an unconventional approach to production and performance. Dave Clough aka Mr No Hands, a name inspired by his love for BMX tricks, is fast emerging as a creative force to be reckoned with through his ever popular video series which have accompanied his last few releases and seen his creative vision compared to the likes of Mr Scruff and Lemon Jelly.

He likes to make songs that go Pow! and Whop! and has released several of these on labels including Diverted Traffic, Envision and Sound Of Habib. ’Adrenaline Ltd’, his mighty collaboration with the Bassbin Twins, was awarded ’Tune of the Month’ in DJ Magazine and Mixmag rated his electrophonic smash ’Hit and Hope’, the same. His remix of Nuboy’s ’U Cant’ was widely hailed as one of the finest remixes of 2007 with support coming from DJs Ali B, Tayo and The Stanton Warriors. Meanwhile he’s been wowing crowds with his trademark ’exo-funk’ sound through his monthly residency at Air, Cargo, London, alongside fellow resident DJ Janette Slack and resident house band Diverted.

2008 sees the launch of Mr No Hands’ new forward thinking video-MP3 label, No Handed Music, a division of Ali B’s Air Recordings label with each release accompanied by one of his trademark animated films. Through his Youtube channel he has already enlisted an army of fans who regularly look forward to viewing his latest capers, which are typically crafted in a modernist lo-fi Lowry style, without the bad weather and the drab colours. He has also caught the attention of Myspace who have regularly featured him on their front page as a hotly tipped artist.

Ooof I've recovered from Fridays Sambuca mega rave to sort out a special festive treat for you all on tonights NSB Radio Beatz and Bobz show.

Me and Lex will be banging out the tunes for the second hour, but Ive invited fellow Beatz and Bobz residents James Gill and DJ Andromeda to do a 30min guest mix each for the first hour of the show.

DJ Andromeda

My name is Amanda Kyriakou, grew up in Athens, where I began djing. I became aware of the dance music scene when studying at Art School in Britain, and since then the music has taken over. Always striving to be different, I found my niche in the early days of Breaks, which to this day remains a scene that is healthily growing and evolving.

After experimenting with a live sound with a percussionist and a scratch DJ in the late 90s, I hooked up with music producer DAN CAHILL and we formed DISTRACTION/DIVERSION.

We have released under FUNCTIONAL label and INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT. I co-ran Taunton's SUBSONIC night between 2000-2004 @Cafe Mamba, where I had the priviledge of playing alongside many Breaks masters.

I often appear at GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL and BEAUTIFUL DAYS, and it has taken me to far away places such as Bulgaria and Berlin.

I have residencies at Exeter's infamous BEATZ & BOBZ night, and you can also catch me at the North Bridge Inn at regular intervals on Thursdays : SQUEEZE nights. I am currently busy in the studio with BEN OAKLEY under the guise of RAW BALANCE!

I am me, you should know me really, or maybe your just finding out?

You can catch me on the wheels of steel at the UK's longest running Breakbeat night of 10 years Beatz & Bobz, warming up for the likes of James Lavelle, Elite Force, Soul of Man, Plump DJ's, Rennie Pilgrim, Dreadzone, Radioactive Man, The Rogue Element, Atomic Hooligan and lots more with fellow residents & Westcountry Warriors Ben & Lex.

Or you may have caught me at my own nights JamTheChannel, Earwax, Synchronicity or Soundcheck (rip) at various venue's in Exeter. Soundcheck which ran for 4 years saw the likes of Inland Knights (drop music) Switch (dubsided) Bionic Bump Band (2020vision) Chemical Brothers Tour DJ James Holroyd & Regular appearances from Sonny Wharton & the Cream of the local House Heads.

After Soundcheck was put to bed JamTheChannel was born, starting off with a selection of the Southwest's up and coming DJ's including Markutz (retox/random audio) Dave Goebel,Krafty Sounds(squeeze),Lettis(sos soundsystem), Damo(magik bullet/everywhere),Compo(breaksphere)+ loads more.

After the summer JamTheChannel took it up a notch, with myself and Resident Laughinboy fully in control we nailed our sound down to Jackin Fidget House with the help of our Scratchmeister DJJD and our friends at Squeeze Redbelly & Krafty Sounds + more special locals.

This year brings JamTheChannel's first Festival outing by having a whole tent for the weekend at Aeon Festival on dartmoor, and welcome our first big guest to JamTheChannel with Herve (dubsided) coming do to help us rock our room at Mega Rave - Synchronity :)with more guests to come so watch this space.

Chew The Fat! 10th Birthday Show

I can now confirm that on our next show, 1st October, we will be helping Chew The Fat! celebrate their 10th birthday.

Not only will we be having a competition giving away a collection of Fat! releases and free entry to Chew The Fat! 10th Birthday @ The End in London on October 12th but we will also have and exclusive guest mix from Fat! boss Paul Trouble Arnold.

It doesnt get much better then this to be honest...
